Student handbooks, published by the Student Affairs Office, provided students with essential campus information, local guides, and even some history. Here are a few sample pages from the Student Handbook from 1971, which creatively describes the history of the University of California system and the UCI campus. Clever illustrations were a big part of the student handbook. Pia Gregan, Steve Goetz, and Jack McAllister were the contributing illustrators for this issue.
